How we recap Korean broker research
This guide sets out the format we use for research recaps.

Korean brokerages publish research on Korean companies, sectors and the economy, much of it in Korean. Our recaps summarise selected Korean-language reports in English. This guide explains how we identify the sources and present their findings.
The format
Each recap opens with the firm’s name and the date of the report. We summarise the report’s main conclusion, key figures and supporting reasoning in our own words. When we compare reports on the same company, we identify each firm and report date and explain how their views differ.
What we leave out
We do not reproduce report text, charts or tables. We do not add our own rating or price target, and we do not tell readers whether to act on a broker’s view. Each rating and price target is attributed to the issuing firm and dated to the source report.
